DOXA COCKTAIL BAR
A Cocktail Bar Design Above the World
Project
Cocktail bar experience
Location
Phuket, Thailand
The brief; design an experience for an exclusive cocktail bar where mythology, architecture, and mixology intersect. Designed to feel both elevated and elusive, it redefines the drinking experience with meticulous attention to space, lights, and detail.
From concept to execution, we worked closely with the team to craft an identity that extends beyond the physical space—spanning brand concept, naming, lighting, and the finer nuances of interior and graphic design. It’s been a privilege to bring this vision to life, creating a destination that feels entirely original.

The Craft of Exclusivity
A Myth in the Making: Graphic Design & Symbolism
The tree at Doxa is more than a decorative element—it’s a continuation of the bar’s architectural language. Inspired by the resilient olive trees that cling to ancient Greek mountaintops, its form mirrors the platform’s structure, rooting the space in mythology and nature.

An owl, taken from an ancient Greek coin, serves as another subtle but deliberate reference—wisdom, wealth, and status encapsulated in a single icon. These elements reinforce Doxa’s narrative, making it feel less like a new venue and more like a rediscovered legend.
Beyond the physical space, Doxa needed an identity rooted in history yet entirely its own. The logo draws inspiration from ancient rune stones, bridging the gap between past and present. An emblem of mystery and power, it speaks to the brand’s mythological undertones.

To achieve this level of refinement, we curated every detail with precision. The cushion and tray designs feature a tree motif, subtly referencing the architectural structure itself—a seamless integration of form and function. Every surface, every fixture, was chosen to enhance the sense of place, balancing opulence with restraint.

For Those Who Seek the Exceptional
At this standard of hospitality, nothing is left unthought of, from custom embroidery to choice for fabric for the table napkins to menus that a easy to navigate and invite to trying more all the way to plate ware direction and even bill holders.
Doxa is not for everyone. It was designed for those who understand that true luxury is about access, about belonging to something rare. The space, the drinks, the atmosphere—each element contributes to an experience that is both aspirational and unforgettable.
Here also, everything needs to be considered with the upmost care, from design the concepts all the way to QC-ing the production.
For those looking to create a destination that redefines exclusivity, we build more than spaces—we craft legends. Let’s talk.
Uniform Design
The uniform design at Doxa follows the same approach as the space itself...
…structured, intentional, and quietly imposing. The pattern is vast, extending beyond what any single piece reveals, ensuring no two uniforms are exactly alike. It’s a design that suggests scale without overtaking the wearer. Materials, color hierarchy, and operational needs were all considered, creating attire that feels as composed and refined as the service it represents.
Lastly, brand guidelines and guardianship
No one-fit all SOPs here, only pure, highly drinkable, brand juices.
Brand guidelines convey a variety of information and tips about your brand, useful both internally to your company or organization and externally to your affiliates, partners, and customers. Although there is no industry-wide standard for what constitutes a brand standards document, the most notable organizations use brand guidelines as a tool to help everyone understand how to represent their brand.
Good guidelines connect different aspects of your brand, such as your logo, colors, and typography, to form a cohesive identity.
Great guidelines are highly useable, both to for you to check that anything you do is on brand but also, to create anything new in the future that you didn’t know yet you needed when they were written!
