At Thread Design, our role as a brand strategist was pivotal in ALDI’s entry into the Chinese market. Through comprehensive brand research, we gained insights into local consumer behaviors and preferences, enabling us to develop a tailored brand platform that resonated with the target audience. Our approach to 360 brand management ensured that every touchpoint, from naming to in-store experience, aligned with ALDI’s global identity while catering to regional nuances. As a dedicated branding strategist and brand strategy consultant, we collaborated closely with ALDI’s global team to adapt their visual identity and communication strategies, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence in China.

Thread design assisted ALDI China for the opening of their first 2 pilot store in Shanghai, which includes the strategizing, designing and implementation of their screen menu for their ready-to-eat counter which rotates throughtout the day.
